SYROS (Finikas)

SYROS FinikasFinikas is a picturesque seaside settlement lying at the southwestern part of Syros, just 11 km from Ermoupolis, the capital town of the island. Finikas constitutes the second natural harbor in size on Syros, after the port of Ermoupolis. It is sheltered from northern winds, such as "meltemi", which blows during summer. Lately, there has been remarkable tourist development in Finikas, due to its amazing location and the satisfactory services offered by the tourist businesses around the settlement. This quaint harbor, has an organized marina offering all requested facilities (water and fuel supply, taverns, ouzeries, bars, cafes, a supermarket, Greek and foreign press), constituting an excellent shelter, a supply and mooring station for yachts and boats. The beautiful, scenic and lush beach of Finikas with the golden sand offers unique moments of rest and relaxation and gives the opportunity of agreeable walks, away from stressful everyday routine.


AMORGOS (Aegiali)

Amorgos AegialiThe ancient name of Amorgos was Pagali. Amorgos is an island with vast natural beauty and clear-blue waters. It lies at the southeastern part of Naxos Island, right on the southeastern edge of the Cyclades cluster. Amorgos possesses two lovely and safe ports, the port of Aegiali and that of Katapola. Nearby Aegiali Port you will find wonderful beaches, ideal for swimming. Aegiali constitutes a tourist resort concentrating the characteristics of an authentic Greek fisher's village and displays a wild mountainous landscape. The settlements of Potamos, Langada and Tholaria are really picturesque, offering magnificent view of Aegiali and the Aegean Sea. The capital town of Amorgos is Chora, which is built in the inland. It boasts pebbled alleyways, arches and archways, as well as stone-built steps. If you decide to visit Chora, we suggest that you take a walk at the Venetian Castle, the Medieval Tower of Gavras, which roofs the archaeological museum, the Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa and the old mansions.

SIFNOS

SIFNOS - KamaresThe island that maintains its traditions. The prosperity of the island of Sifnos in ancient times was attributed to its gold and silver. In the past two centuries, its prosperity can be attributed to its poets, writers, ceramic artists, farmers and stone builders.
