The Islands that we visit
MYKONOS |

The savage landscape combined with the original traditional architecture, the superb climate and the numerous sandy beaches with crystal clear waters all together form an irresistible mix.
Furthermore, Mykonos has the privilege of being situated next to the immense and unique open air ancient museum of Delos, the island of Greek God Apollo. The capital of Mykonos, Hora, together with Ano Mera reach a population of 4,000 people. Visitors of the island tend to be mysteriously attracted by the sight of the dazzling white houses of Hora, with the colorful windows, all properly aligned along narrow rock paved streets. Small old churches built in a strictly traditional way add to the impressive and harmonious scenery.

An afternoon stroll at Panagia with the picturesque white houses and the famous church of Panagia Akathi is a must for visitors. The few inhabitants form an atmosphere of hospitality as they welcome you in all small cafes and taverns and serve you the local specialties. If you are lucky to attend one of the numerous local festivities, you ‘ll also be able to enjoy the music of the local violinists, famous in the Cyclades islands.
North of Panagia is Messaria, where the old temple of Evangelism of the Holy Mary is situated. From there, a path will take you to the North Eastern coast, at the wonderful sandy beach of Psili Amos, whose name translates into “thin sand”.

Each one of these two villages has its own seaport. Hora’s port is Loutra and Dryopis’ port is Merihas. The port of Loutra is well known for its thermal healing water sources which were very reputed already from the Roman occupation period. Loutra is built by the seaside of a protected bay and is 4,5 km away from Hora. South east of Loutra lays the beautiful beach of Agia Erini near a recently discovered archaeological site. One of the biggest caves in Greece, called Katafyki, very rich in stalagmitic formations is also nearby.
The beach of Loutra bay features many cafes and taverns, where you can have a good time and take a bite of the local specialties. Finally, a short walk along the narrow streets of Loutra will let you discover locally handmade made ceramics and pottery.
